Praziquantel and pyrantel

Indications

Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate Tablets are a broad-spectrum dewormer for the removal and control of tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms in cats and kittens.

Dosage and Administration

To ensure proper dosage, weigh the cat prior to treatment. Administer as a single oral dose according to the following table. DOSAGE TABLE: Body Weight: 2–3 lbs Number of Tablets: 0.5 tablet Body Weight: 4–8 lbs Number of Tablets: 1.0 tablet Body Weight: 9–12 lbs Number of Tablets: 1.5 tablets Body Weight: 13–16 lbs Number of Tablets: 2.0 tablets Not for use in kittens less than 2 months of age or weighing less than 2 lbs. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Tablets may be given directly by mouth or offered in a small amount of food. Do not withhold food from the cat prior to or after treatment. RETREATMENT: Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. Re-treatment may be necessary as determined by your veterinarian. Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. CAUTIONS: Do not use in kittens less than 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 2 lbs. Use with caution in sick or debilitated animals. Consult your veterinarian before administering to sick or pregnant animals.
