What is in this section
One page per CAPC guideline. Each page takes the guideline’s own section headings, synopsis, species, life cycle, disease, prevalence, diagnosis, treatment, control and prevention, and public health, and quotes how each section begins, word for word, with a link to the rest of that section on capcvet.org. Nothing is summarised or reworded, and no page adds a sentence of its own about the parasite.
Where it comes from
The Companion Animal Parasite Council publishes a guideline for each parasite of dogs and cats, maintained by its board of parasitologists and clinicians. Each guideline was fetched, stored with a hash of its bytes and the retrieval date, and excerpted by a script that keeps at most seventy words per section. A check reads every excerpt back against the stored document. The guidelines are CAPC’s copyright: this section quotes and links, it does not reprint.
